Basket weave cowl

I designed this cowl while we were driving across Texas from Houston to El Paso for my Grandmother’s 100th Bday.

It’s also called Lala’s Cowl and is now available as a free pattern.

I was short on supplies and used whatever was in arm’s reach in the RV.  You can spot straws I used and stitch holders and pennies for counting rows.
